Musicians blocking the way to the basement again! 

I've never hung around long enough to get thrown out of Avo's, but there may be an opportunity to find out just how long the jam goes on next week.

The temps are in the mid to upper 70's so the patio is still a great place to meet and play with fellow musicians. We will have to move inside to the regular stage area when it gets colder however!

Zoom H2 @ Avo's

I was trying out my new Zoom H2 digital audio recorder at Avo's Jam last night:

I still need to figure out the best way to capture audio, especially in a noisy barroom situation. Here's an example of the music at the jam (I didn't record this one! The audio I have is too distorted because I had the mic gain too high). When I figure out how to adjust the gain properly, I will be able to start using it as a sound track in my videos.
