Love Liberty?

Costumed wavers on Harmony

It’s that time of year again to be distracted by this tax preparation company and their team of costumed wavers dressed as the replica of the Statue of Liberty from the New York, New York hotel and casino in Las Vegas. I think.

Trash pick up on Poudre

As part of the National Day of Service we picked up trash along the Poudre River. The major finds were located near transient camps under railroad bridges and consisted of beer cans, bottles, food containers and paper products. There was an old tire on the banks of the river but it was too frozen-in to remove.

Winter Work

Not many bike rides in the snow. Why not another stained glass project:

Water color painted copy of an octagon window

A new glass project (The last one was here,  in April of 2009) assuming the old parts on hand still work. Lets see if I can finish this by the start of classes at CSU (January 21st).

First Night Last Night

Tuesday, January 1st, 2013

As part of FoCo’s First Night, we started it off with a showing of “Dynamic Earth” at the FCMOD’s Otterbox Digital Dome Theater.  Then it was Pueblo Viejo for a few drinks and appetizers. Next some of the venues such as:

The Empty Pockets Celtic Trio?

Jerry the Janitor’s Science Tricks?

A Moment with Devil Dan?

…and finally the World Famous “Popovich Comedy Pet Theater” as seen on Leno, Letterman, America’s Got Talent, etc.
