Well, the feast of the RAGBRAI is coming soon! Gotta bike out to the nearest porkfest to train…
Wow! Loveland LOVES BBQ! Who would’a thunk?
… It’s a rib-fest sponsored by the local medical facility!
and you buy food using these “Pork’er Chips”; OK, the pork puns are a RAGBRAI tradition! I’m used to that.
Oops? Who are these guys? They won 3rd place last year.
Hey! Morrison is where Red Rocks is located. Bob’s logo features a nice happy pig ready to be eaten!
… this is Biggins; He’s a big dude with a big black beard. High heat is the concept in his logo.
Rat BBQ? You gotta be kidding!
Brother Mel was out there tellin’ it like it is: “Come and git yer Fat and Cholesterol RIGHT HERE!”
Not just pork for dinner
I don’t understand this pig eating frog. Actually it’s kind of scary.
Finally a classy looking sign. These guys started in business making BBQ sauce.
These folks feature hot sauce on their ribs.
Never been there. Maybe I’ll try them someday.
Oh! I sampled some of their jerk chicken; It’s NOT!
Bumpa’s offers free delivery to Milliken! MILLIKEN! Someday I’ll do a blog post on Milliken. Not now.
Can you smell CHAIN?
The Peace Pit of Greeley? Why? Grease Pit?
Funny thing; All of these BBQ places are “Voted #1” someplace at sometime. Nordy’s is a personal favorite and it’s coming to downtown FoCo soon!
Yes, the shrimp bombs were great. Next time I’m at Highlands Ranch I’ll have to stop in!
Funny story: There’s a ChiBi-Q of sorts in Chicago. It’s a support group for crossdressers who have a big BBQ in July. I don’t think this is the same.
Finally a drug reference.
Ha ha, I get it!
There’s a Smokin’ Oh Kies from California, but this team claims to be from Loveland, Co.
From Littleton: “How can you have any Kettle Corn if you don’t eat your pig?”
Hey, these guys sell BBQ implements! WHo let them in?
FYI: I joined the FLYGIRL and TAGALONGS club for this 2010 RAGBRAI. No connection here, just saying.
It’s Q-Pig of Pueblo, Co.
From Florida? I think they won 1st place last year. Still I prefer Nordy’s but to each his own.
This was good training for RAGBRAI. I guess the weather could have been 20 degrees hotter and the humidity maybe 30 times what it is around here. I do feel a Di-gel moment coming on however…
Very fun post — it’s got to be among your best. I’m going to tweet about it because if you care about Northern Colorado, food, or local blogging, then you have to see this post.
JUST AWESOME!!!!!!Gr888 Job…
I have never been a huge fan of Kettle corn but I always enjoy it during the holidays, but then my parent sent me this Rocky road kettle corn, just look at the pictures, its amazing!
