People with their corgis. Duncan was there, but he was not being very photogenic today.

CORGI DAY!
Monday, October 2nd, 2017The Soup, Again
Saturday, August 5th, 2017The BIG CAN OF SOUP IS STILL THERE:
Remember back in 2009, in the old blog there was this soup can at the UCA? Well, it’s still there. Today however, I somehow made a connection that I had forgotten all these years. It seems the Campbell Soup Company was instrumental in setting my career path toward a future in robotics, if a spectacular short future at that, but none the less, the deed was done. Maybe someday I will tell you about it.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Tuesday, June 21st, 2016At yet another bike o work day!
This time it’s Duncan who looked at the camera
Whenever I remember that the bike to work day is coming I will actually get up early with the dog and the dog cart. I think the first time I did the bike to work breakfast was in 2009; at least that’s where I found this blog entry. Back then I tried to hit every stati0n. Since I didn’t have Duncan Madog back then, it was easier to travel all around town and not have to stop to pee every 5 minutes. But Duncan is cute so it’s good to have him along for the ride.
New Dog!
Thursday, January 28th, 2016No, we’re not replacing Duncan Madog… yet!
Well, no, not exactly. Our neighbor just got a cute Cocker Spaniel puppy for their kids and realized they needed to put up a fence in the back yard for the dog to have some playing room. They hired a “construction” company from the town of Wellington to help put up the fence this winter. Problems developed right away as the ground was frozen and there were periods when it would snow and not melt in the afternoon like it always had in the past. The contractors didn’t have a clue where to dig. One of them was observed using a dowsing rod; I asked him what he was looking for. He couldn’t or wouldn’t tell me. I convinced the owned of the property to call 811 before these idiots dug any holes! They also needed for me to find my sprinkler heads which was hard to do in the winter.
The picture above is a partial result of their work. Can you see the cut cable? Yes, it seems they cut our Comcast cable in at least three places! God, what idiots!
OK, these holes were dug and then a few days later, posts and concrete were placed in the holes (by a technique that defies explanation). Now a snow storm is coming! Will they finish the job before the big snow? Stay tuned.
Yet Another New Year?
Friday, January 1st, 2016The tree still looked good!
Duncan Madog not paying attention
Jeannie’s fingers can be seen on the left trying to make Duncan Madog look cute for the camera. Duncan never liked the little Santa hat attached to his head and he would always seem to avoid being around when the camera is out, so this is the best picture we could get.
Jeanne and a ceramic horse
Yes, the local Budweiser plant had their Clydesdale horses for view in the stables but none were posing for the camera so this ceramic horse will do.
Or close to it, depending on how it’s used. It is a home-made instrument that apparently can provide a continuous harmonic drone that works well with an Australian didgeridoo or Indian sitar.
Corgis Rule

Friday, September 11th, 2015At least in this painting…
It’s called Picnic Bandits
By Karen C. who has her studio above the Creator Hub. Duncan Madog visits her often because she always (most of the time) has a treat for him.
BREAKING NEWS: All the corgis in the area will come on down to Library Park in Fort Collins this October 3rd for the First Annual “Tour de Corgi”. Wait for it!
