A NutMobile?

Mr. Peanut 1

Not far from my home I saw this. Yes, it’s the Planters NutMobile and there are people called “Nutters” who drive it around the US.

I think I know where the “Nutters” are staying tonight!

My fascination with the Planter’s people came when I visited the Planter’s World Headquarters someplace out east. I have a Mr. Peanut key chain and an eight inch plastic figure of Mr. Peanut. This was before the nutters went into operation driving a large peanut across the country.

NOW, with a road sign signed by John Karras

The 2020 ‘Virtual Ragbrai’ committee has decided to award me with one of those directional signs that is signed by one of the original founders of the ride across Iowa, Mr. John Karras. The award was given for the rider with the “Most Comic Relief” which was what I was going for. I think the picture of the dead raccoon really made it. In the picture is also another signature of a famous Ragbrai name: Mr. Pork Chop, or Mr. Paul Bernhard. He signed the inside of my banjo about four years ago.
